During the production process, feed can be contaminated during its stay through the manufacturing circuit. Remains of organic matter and dust are adhered in factory facilities, posing a microbiological hazard and a risk of cross-contamination of the food. Surfaces, especially those that are difficult-to-reach, such as silos, conveyors or elevators, must be taken into account in the factory cleaning program to ensure the safety of the final product.
